Dr. Chaturvedi is a seasoned biotech inventor with decades of expertise in biotechnology and point-of-care (PoC) diagnostics and serves as a Scientific Advisor for NomadX. Renowned as an infection biology expert, Rupesh has authored over 75 peer-reviewed research articles in the field.

Currently holding the position of Professor of Biotechnology at the School of Biotechnology, Dr. Chaturvedi’s research focuses on host-pathogen interactions. Notably, Rupesh was appointed as the founding Director of Research and Development for Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2016, a role he held until October 2019.

In 2020, Rupesh spearheaded the launch of iCLRC (Indian Clinical and Life Sciences Cloud), a groundbreaking virtual platform capable of conducting AI/ML-based aggregation and analytics for multiomics studies. Dr. Chaturvedi’s expertise extends to the creation of both animal and non-animal models for infection biology innovations. Additionally, Rupesh is well-versed in technology assessment, adept at defining the life cycle stage of various innovations. During his tenure as Director of R&D, Rupesh evaluated lab-based technologies for their readiness level, ensuring their suitability for advancement and implementation.
