Research Scientist

Sharis Erwin is a seasoned research scientist with over nine years of experience in biochemical and molecular biology. 

She holds a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology from Frostburg State University and an M.S. in Biomedical Research from the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine. She recently completed a Certificate in Biochemical Regulatory Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Prior to NomadX, Ms. Erwin was a research scientist at Nutramax Laboratories Inc., where she played a pivotal role in developing and optimizing protein technologies, including ELISAs and immunoassays. She has extensive experience in maintaining and conducting experiments with mammalian tissue cell lines, RNA and DNA isolation, and quantitative PCR. Her work has contributed to advancing the laboratory's research capabilities and ensuring the safety and efficacy of its operations.

Sharis has presented her research at national conferences, including the International Congress on Integrative Medicine & Health and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
