ClO257™
ClO257™ for Farm-to-Product Pathogen Control
Controlling Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli risk across production and processing requires more than a chemical. It requires the right chemistry - deployed the right way.
One chemistry. One program. From farm to processing.
Ultra-Pure Sanitizer + Full-Service Implementation
ClO257™ is an ultra-pure decontamination solution engineered for use across livestock production and food processing environments, backed by a full-service decontamination program from NomadX. We assess, implement, monitor, and optimize your entire pathogen reduction strategy.
Why Food Safety Leaders Choose ClO₂57
Reduce environmental positives
Our structured sanitation protocols actively reduce the microbial load across complex workflows, high-contact surfaces, and holding areas. By applying ultra-pure ClO₂57, we drastically reduce the pathogen load that cause costly diseases.
Control biofilms at the source
Biofilms harbor bacteria making them more resistant to traditional sanitizers. ClO₂57 utilizes a small molecular structure that actively penetrates and disrupts established biofilm slime layers from the inside out. By destroying these protective environments in water lines and troughs, we don't just treat around the problem, we remove the underlying source of continuous contamination.
Strengthens farm-to-production pathogen control
We deliver a fully integrated, Farm-to-Product pathogen control system designed to safeguard the entire supply chain. From livestock drinking water to production equipment and transport vehicles, we seamlessly address contamination vectors to ensure pathogens are stopped long before products reach the consumer.
Support audit and compliance readiness
- EPA Registration: Registered antimicrobial product.
- OMRI & USDA-NOP: Listed for organic use and compliant with the USDA National Organic Program.
- NSF/ANSI 60 & 61: Certified for potable water treatment.
- FDA Food Contact Notifications: Approved for direct food contact and food-processing surfaces.
Protect equipment with low-corrosion chemistry
Neutral pH (6.5–7.5): Ensures high material compatibility with stainless steel, elastomers, plastics, and other common facility components.
Deliver measurable operational impact
Improving water quality and facility hygiene directly drives farm profitability and feed efficiency. Field data shows that our managed treatment programs can increase yield and decrease mortality and the need for veterinary care. Ask us about our case studies for your specific use case.

ClO₂57 for Biofilm Control & Pathogen Reduction
Biofilms are protective microbial layers that allow pathogens like Listeria and Salmonella to persist in food production and processing environments. These structures shield bacteria from conventional sanitizers and are a leading cause of repeat contamination.
Biofilms commonly form in:
- Floor drains and drain systems
- Livestock drinking water systems
- Process water lines
- Chill tanks and recirculation loops
- Equipment niches and harborage sites
- Hard-to-clean areas
ClO257’s small, neutrally charged molecule is designed to penetrate biofilms where pathogens reside.
Unlike traditional sanitizers, ClO257 disrupts key microbial components helping to reduce persistent contamination.
The foundation of this technology is reflected in its name: ClO₂57. The "5" signifies the chemistry’s ability to accept 5 electrons, providing a significantly higher oxidative capacity than the 2-electron receivers found in common biocides. The "7" refers to its neutral pH (6.5–7.5), which ensures material compatibility and safety. Because ClO₂57 is an unstable compound that strips electrons to collapse cell walls from within, pathogens cannot build a resistance to it.
